We went for a little trip to Newport last night. I had somewhat of an idea as what I wanted to get with my tax refund. Roy had a boy scout meeting last night, so I took advantage of him going to Newport and went to Fred Meyer. There is an entryway organizer that we have been looking at. I decided that I am finally going to get it. I am also getting a basket to go on one of the shelves to help with organization.
We are also getting a Wii for the family. It originally started out that we were getting it for Jon and Alani for their birthdays but then decided we should just get as a family since we will all be using it. Alani is also getting a Nintendo DS since I know she won't be able to sell as many boxes as she needs to get one. :) We still aren't sure what we are getting Jonathon.
We are also going to get a steam cleaner since our carpet needs cleaned so badly. I don't really want to get it, because I will have to work, but we need it. :) This is just the list of big items that we will be getting. We have a lot of little items too. We are also getting services too. We are going on vacation in July so we need to pay for that. I am also thinking about getting my eyes checked and new glasses. I also need to get my hair cut.
Yeah shopping! Hey, have you considered renting a carpet cleaner? We rented one from HOme Depot last year and it was 25 dollars for the steam cleaner rental and 20 dollars for a bottle of shampoo. It did a really good job cleaning the carpet, and you don't have to have a big bulky machine in the house. Just a suggestion. Have a great day!
