I'm really needing a change

After Roy lost his permanent position at Pac West, we have really been trying hard finding him a new job. He applied for a position at Tualatin Valley Fire and almost (really really close) got to move forward. He is still on the eligible list, but will probably have to reapply when they have another recruit academy. It sucks, but we are moving forward. We have been looking every day for something new for him. That includes looking all around the state. I have a feeling he is being a little picky about what he chooses, because he is afraid to move out of the area. I am so ready to get far away from the coast and all of it's rain. BLAH BLAH BLAH!!! I think that I could just pack up everything and get out of here. But Roy is being my conscience. The kids are still in the middle of school, they have baseball, I'm pretty happy with my job (sort of, but that's another complaint), and there are all sorts of problems, that Roy has that sort of stop my ideas.

As far as my job goes, I REALLY REALLY REALLY do not want to work outside the home. I really love my boss, but all I really want to do is be able to stay home. But I know I can't and it's really hard to see everyone else staying home with their kids when I have to work. It really depresses me that starting next year, I will no longer have kids home all day. Kristian will be going to preschool next year. There are so many things that I would love to do instead of being at work. I really want to be able to stay home with my kids.

Another change I would love to see: After all the problems we have been having with our current landlord, we have looked at another house to rent. I really loved the house that we looked at and hope that we get it. We still haven't heard back from that. I hate not knowing what we are going to do.
